Ying Wang, MD, PhD, Welcomed as New Research Director

The Osher Center at the University of Cincinnati recently welcomed Ying Wang, MD, PhD, as its new Research Director Dr. Wang earned her medical degree in integrative medicine from Xinjiang Medical University in China, a master’s degree in Acupuncture Science from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and a PhD in molecular pain research from the University of Wuerzburg in Germany. She later completed postdoctoral training in translational and clinical research at the University of Minnesota.  

Dr. Wang’s clinical and research interests focus on advancing evidence-based, non-opioid, and non-addictive approaches to pain management and optimizing their integration into conventional medicine for patients with clinical pain disorders, with a particular interest in the development of integrative oncology.
