The UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine and Department of Medicine/Division of Palliative Medicine seek an outstanding individual for a full-time faculty position as integrative medicine physician in the field of palliative care.

The UCSF Osher Center, founded in 1998, is renowned for its excellence and commitment to the highest quality integrative patient care, education, and research. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, integrative palliative care physician to work collaboratively with a diverse, interprofessional team in the provision of outstanding, evidence-based integrative healthcare. This role offers unique opportunities to collaborate with talented clinicians, educators, and researchers at the Osher Center and to build partnerships and promote integrative health across UCSF.

The successful candidate will have exceptional clinical skills in integrative palliative care, experience with interprofessional teamwork and collaboration, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Candidates must be Board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, have completed a fellowship or equivalent advanced training in integrative medicine, have direct experience in the practice of complementary and integrative healthcare, and be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of California. Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to, demonstrated leadership in the clinical practice of integrative medicine and experience in medical or interprofessional education. The selected individual will be eligible for a UCSF appointment in the Health Sciences Clinical series as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Department of Medicine/Division of Palliative Medicine, and as such, will participate in teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activities.

This is a 1.0 FTE position.
